Palak Tiwari addresses rumours of dating Ibrahim Ali Khan: ‘Love can never be calculated or predicted’
For Palak Tiwari, there is no time for love–at least not yet. The entertainer, who will be making her acting debut with superstar Salman Khan-headlined Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, has opened up about speculations that she is dating Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of actor Saif Ali Khan.
Ibrahim and Palak, daughter of actor Shweta Tiwari, have been linked for a long time. The duo was first spotted together last year when they were pictured after an outing. In an interview with Times of India, Palak was asked to comment on the rumours of dating Ibrahim.
Palak, who shot to fame with the 2021 Harrdy Sandhu chartbuster Bijlee Bijlee, said she has been busy shooting for two feature films and added that her work is her “sole focus” in life, which has kept her happy and content. The actor said at this stage of her career, it is important for her to focus on her work and not pay any heed to rumours about her personal life.
“While love can never be calculated or predicted, at this stage, work is in first gear for me. Professionally, it’s a crucial time, so I am focusing my energies on that,” she added.
Last year, after their pictures went viral–where Palak was trying to hide her face from the paparazzi–the actor had opened up about her equation with Ibrahim and had said they talk occasionally but she was in no mood to date anybody.
In an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Palak had said, “It’s just friendship. In fact, it was all just conjecture. That’s why I didn’t pay any heed to it, because it was all very asinine in my head. We were out, we got papped, and it ends there. In fact, we were with a group of people, it wasn’t just us. But it got papped like that, because that’s the narrative people like the most.”
Palak is currently awaiting the release of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film, also starring Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal and Siddharth Nigam, is a remake of the 2014 Tamil movie, Veeram, which chronicled the story of a man whose four younger brothers want him to get married so that they can settle down too.
